CTV's Live on Campus is a private TV network which
provides an independent and personalized broadcast to each of the
campus communities that it serves. The content is comprised of campus
highlights ranging from sporting events, day-to-day activities,
interviews with students/faculty members, and general info-tainment
related to the particular campus. Footage is updated weekly and
shown on plasma or jumbo TV screens placed in the highest foot traffic
areas of a campus, with typically 7-12,000 students walking by each
display on a daily basis.
Students are drawn to the screen because it focuses
on their campus with no generic programming such as music videos,
general news and sports, which they believe they can watch in a
variety of other situations. Additionally, all of the footage is
created by students from the particular school - these students
are hired, trained, paid, and managed directly by CTV with the full
support of the university. CTV then professionally produces the
finished content which is rebroadcast a week later on our proprietary
screens.
After spending several years in research and development, CTV is
now rolling out our program on a national level to 25 of the top
100 schools in the country. In 2004, this campus total will increase
to 50 schools in the Spring and 100 in the Fall. We focus exclusively
on the prominent schools in terms of prestige, academic quality,
and population. Our goal is to positively affect and build relationships
with the future leaders and trendsetters of tomorrow.
We are happy to make an in-person presentation or answer any questions
directly as well that may help you with your choice to change the
way your company communicates and builds a media relationship
with the campuses we service.
